Hey gals! A few weeks back, we asked our followers what their favorite black leggings were and what black leggings they’d love to try out. Being taller women, most regular leggings just aren’t long enough, so we wanted to try on different brands and styles and let y’all know the deats.

Let’s get into it:

Girlfriend Collective High Waist 7/8 Leggings:

Okay, I wanted to try these for a really long time and on the model they looked to be 7/8 leggings, but on me they were more like cropped leggings (not a fan). I’d say they were pretty comfortable, but these are definitely more of an athletic legging. Typically, for working out, I prefer shorts anyway, but I would wear these for a barre class.

SPANX Look at Me Now Seamless Leggings:

Let me tell ya…these are comfortable! I love the seamless feel! However, there is a weird diaper affect on the crotch that I did not like at all. These are pictured online with a nice top, so they are meant to be a fashion legging, but I would never wear these with something that didn’t completely cover my butt. They reminded me of fleece lined leggings or tights that you would wear under a dress or skirt in the winter.

Alo Airlift High Waist Leggings:

I have been wanted to try Alo leggings for years! I loved these leggings so much! They are super soft and shiny, they give a leather vibe without the leather. They suck you in and they were long enough to not look weird. I need to exchange mine to get a larger size, but besides that I think these may be one of my new favorites!

Zella Live In High Waist Leggings:

Zella leggings have been one of my go-tos for years! I usually get a new pair once every year or year and a half. They are a good basic legging that doesn’t look cheap, but doesn’t break the bank. They are not see-through either. They are not my longest pair of leggings, but I tend to wear them a lot in the winter with boots. They remind me most of the Lulu Lemon Wunder Under Leggings. My one complaint would be that I do have to pull them up often, but I think for the price they are good quality.

Lululemon Align Legging 25“:

Hands down my favorite legging of all time! First off, they are buttery soft. Literally, SO SOFT. I know a few people who don’t love working out in them, but these are all I wear when I workout. They are seamless, comfortable and super flattering. These are what I wear 99% of the time when I wear leggings. Trust me, you will LOVE these! I can’t recommend these enough!

Lululemon Wunder Under High-Rise Tight 28″:

These were my first pair of Lululemon that I bought many years ago, and yes I still have them. These are thicker than the Align Pant, but I love wearing these in the colder months because of that. I mainly wear them when traveling and in the winter, never to workout. They are high rise and super comfortable. These will last you for years!

Aerie Play Real Me High Waisted 7/8 Leggings:

I just bought these to use when I am woking in the yard or doing house work and I love them. People say they are comparable to the Align Pant, but I have to disagree. While they are super soft and comfortable, I prefer my Lululemon leggings everyday. However, these are great for a fraction of the price, and they come in “short” and “long” lengths!
